This is not a typical wine tour. It is a journey through the origins of wine—timed precisely with harvest season and anchored by Armenia’s Areni Wine Festival. From the vineyards of Georgia’s Kakheti Region to the wine villages of Armenia’s Vayots Dzor, this journey explores two of the world’s oldest wine cultures through curated tastings, historic landscapes, and unforgettable culinary experiences. Begin in Georgia, where wine remains a living tradition. Continue into Armenia, where ancient monasteries and modern winemakers reveal a deeper story of heritage, identity, and resilience.

Arrive in Tbilisi, where you will be met upon arrival and transferred privately to your hotel.

After check-in, take time to rest and settle in following your journey. Depending on arrival times, the evening offers a light introduction to Georgia’s warm hospitality with a welcome dinner.



Discover the charm of Tbilisi through its Historic Old Town, where winding streets, churches, and distinctive architecture reflect centuries of cultural influence.

Take in panoramic views over the city before continuing through its vibrant neighborhoods, blending tradition with a modern creative energy.

In the evening, gather for a signature Georgian dining experience, where local cuisine, wine, and hospitality come together to introduce the spirit of the country.

Begin the day with a deeper exploration of Georgia’s Winemaking Heritage through curated tastings and visits to intimate wine cellars, where traditional qvevri methods continue to shape the country’s distinctive wine culture.

Continue with a relaxed lunch and time to enjoy Tbilisi at your own pace—whether through its cafés, galleries, or quiet streets.

In the evening, ascend above the city for a refined dining experience overlooking Tbilisi, where modern Georgian cuisine and panoramic views provide a memorable close to the day.

Travel east into Georgia’s renowned Kakheti region, where vineyards stretch across the Alazani Valley beneath the Caucasus Mountains. En route, stop in the hilltop town of Sighnaghi, known for its views and charm.

Continue to Telavi, the heart of the region, where the pace slows and the landscape begins to define the experience. A winery visit and relaxed evening set the tone for the days ahead.


Spend the day immersed in Georgia’s wine culture through curated winery visits and tastings, with opportunities to experience the rhythms of harvest season.

The day also includes the local Jazz and Wine Festival programming, offering a lively expression of the region’s traditions.


 

Depart Kakheti and journey south, crossing into Armenia. The landscape shifts as you enter the lush Debed Canyon region, where dramatic scenery and centuries-old monasteries reflect a different rhythm and history.

Visit monastic sites set within the canyon before continuing to your overnight stay in northern Armenia.


Continue south through Armenia’s countryside with scenic stops along the way. As you approach Yerevan, the country’s capital, the setting transitions from rural landscapes to a vibrant urban environment.

Enjoy a relaxed evening to settle in.

 


Travel through some of Armenia’s most iconic settings, beginning with Khor Virap, where views of Mount Ararat define the horizon.

Continue to Noravank Monastery, set within a dramatic canyon, before entering the Areni / Vayots Dzor wine region for tasting and cultural immersion.
