Day 2 – Masis Blur & Archaeological Insight
Spend a relaxed morning recovering from travel before heading to Masis Blur for a rare opportunity to visit an active archaeological site. Meet with Dr. Kristine Martirosyan-Olshansky of UCLA, co-director of the Masis Blur research program, for a guided introduction to ongoing excavations and discoveries.
Conclude the day with a welcome dinner in Yerevan.

- Select days (notably Days 5, 7, and 8) involve longer travel distances and early departures (typically around 08:00) to ensure a smooth and complete experience.
- Certain sites, including Mendz Er Cave and Lori Fortress, require a basic level of physical mobility and comfort walking on uneven terrain.
- Mountain routes, particularly the Selim Pass, are subject to weather conditions and may be adjusted if necessary to ensure safety and comfort.
